That is why we have a generous return policy that allows customers to return their fishing rods for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase. Our return policy applies to both new and used rods purchased from our store.

How to Return a Fishing Rod


If you would like to return or exchange a fishing rod, you can either bring it to your local Bass Pro Shops store or ship it back. If you choose to ship your return, you will need to contact our customer service team for a return authorization number. Once you have received your return authorization number, you can then ship your rod back to us. Please be sure to include the original sales receipt, as well as a note explaining the reason for your return.

Restocking Fees


In the event that you choose to return a fishing rod, you may be subject to a restocking fee. This fee will be based on the condition of the rod and the length of time since you purchased it. The restocking fee is generally 10% of the purchase price, but may be more or less depending on the condition of the rod.

Refunds


If you choose to return a fishing rod for a refund, the refund will be issued in the same form as the original purchase. For example, if you paid for your fishing rod with a credit card, the refund will be applied to your credit card. Refunds may take up to two weeks to process.

Exchanges


If you would like to exchange a fishing rod for another one, you can do so at any of our Bass Pro Shops stores. The exchange will be based on the current price of the new rod, minus any applicable restocking fees. If you have received a fishing rod that is damaged or defective, you can return it for a full refund, exchange, or store credit. You can also choose to have the rod repaired or replaced at no additional cost. Please note, however, that you must contact our customer service team within 72 hours of receiving the damaged or defective item in order to be eligible for a refund or exchange.
